Hi I am Francis Fave, a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently I am pursuing internship and freelance opportunities within the Industrial design field. Persistence, time management and hard work are my essential characteristics that allow me to do the work I do and my love for every minute of it keeps me going.
Industrial design drew me in after I graduated high school because of its variety. Each project is different form the last and each opportunity requires a new approach. I had always enjoyed working both two-dimensionally and three-dimensionally but I have begun to appreciate the preliminary process to a design. The research and product analysis which present the real design opportunities are vital to the development.
Designing for others has challenged my preconceptions. Creating products that more accurately meet the needs of the consumer allow me to make a small change for the better.
It is this ability to constantly learn and be challenged while making a difference in our world that keeps me enthused and excited to work. I have grown to love industrial design even more during my three years in college because of the way it has changed me and pushed me to develop my skills through each project.
